New Quality Horizons was formed by Mark Stephens to fulfil a long held ambition.
Recognising he had a talent for identifying and resolving problems and having a strong belief
that the customer must always be the focus of any business, he felt that these attributes
should be utilised for the benefit of other organisations.
He has worked for several successful companies and gained the knowledge and experience
from many manufacturing and service disciplines including spring manufacture, plastics,
electronics, ferrous and non-ferrous castings and extrusions, the retail and the nuclear industry.
His passion for quality is a solid foundation from which New Quality Horizons has risen and this
same passion is realised by others influenced by his enthusiastic approach.
New Quality Horizons has a refreshing difference in approaches to quality management based
on the real issues of customer satisfaction and strategy for success in today’s market.

is the company principal. He is 43 and
is Married with three children.
About the principal:
- Member of the Institute of Quality Assurance (Committee member of Thames Valley Branch).
- Masters Degree in Quality Management.
- 20 years experience in industry.
- Successfully gained ISO9001 1994 and 2000 versions in several companies including Stannah Stairlifts Ltd, Combined Optical Industries Ltd, Thames-side Maywood Ltd.
- Introduces quality initiatives including FMEA, SPC, Design of Experiments, Quality Function Deployment, Advanced Product Quality Planning, Corrective and Preventive Action, Customer Satisfaction Metrics, Supplier development and assessment.
- Facilitates in quality improvement tools
and techniques including Cause and effect,
Force Field Analysis, Brainstorming. - Participant in the IQA CPD Scheme.
- Hobbies and interests include Falconry and Angling.
